Project Description
One of our major projects was awarded to us in 2014 by ISG on behalf of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. ISG are an international construction services company delivering fit out, construction, engineering services and a range of specialist solutions.
The ongoing ISG project comprises of the refurbishment of part of the first floor and basement levels of the Lambeth Wing at St Thomas’ Hospital, Westminster Bridge Road, London, over two phases.
Phase 1 is the fit out of an existing clinical area on the first floor which shall form part of a new PET/MRI imaging centre, whilst Phase 2 is the fit out of the old PET Centre in the lower basement and this shall house the new cyclotron suite and manufacturing areas.
Our contract with ISG was to manufacture, supply, deliver and install a part modular stainless steel stack 1m diameter high integrity stainless steel stack to the Sellafield Nuclear Specification including the steel framework and design and manufacture the remaining sections to BS4076 Specification for Steel Chimneys, and provide a Lifting plan to crane the stack and support framework into place.
